Joining forces in 2007 and emerging into the musical cosmos with their debut performance at the National Folk Festival in Canberra, this world-jazz quintet has created an immediate and lasting impression. With a world of styles at its disposal, Takadimi draws you in through inventive improvisation and evocative soundscapes. They have performed at countless venues and festivals throughout New South Wales including Venue 505, the ‘Occupy Sydney’ anniversary in Martin Place and at the progressive folk festival ‘Frogfest’ supporting the ‘Barons of Tang’. In June 2103 they performed at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival in Federation Square.
